with Rebecca Green
Saturday, December 2nd from 10am – 4pm
JHU / MICA Film Centre, 10 E. North Avenue
This workshop is designed to demystify the role of the creative producer within the reality of today’s independent film landscape.
By examining both the entrepreneurial and storytelling skills necessary to bring a feature film script to the big (or small) screen, participants will gain an understanding of the critical issues producers face including constant changes in technology and outdated and unproven distribution models, as well as the importance of connecting story to audience at an early stage in order to stand out in a crowd of content and break through.
This workshop is open to all Baltimore residents and is free of cost.
