with Philippa Culpepper
Saturday, August 26th at 10am – 4pm
Saul Zaentz Screening Room
JHU / MICA Film Centre, 10 E. North Avenue
Ever watched a film or TV show and wondered who created the sets? Ever seen locations so convincing that you didn’t even realize they were sets? Welcome to the art of creating environments for film and television!
In this full-day practical workshop, designer/decorator Philippa Culpepper (At Home with Amy Sedaris, The Path, Indignation) will share over a decade of experience creating sets for features and episodic series in the US and the UK.
Participants will discover how this challenging career in the entertainment world can also be the most rewarding and how good set design can make or break a production.
This workshop is open to all Baltimore residents and is free of cost.
